Dehradun, the capital city of Uttarakhand, which got its name by the union of two words, ‘Dera’ and ‘Dun’, meaning ‘Camp in the Valley’ is in the foothills of the Great Himalayas and is situated between two beautiful rivers, the Ganges and the Yamuna. First thing, it gives to the eye, its picturesque beauty and the hill culture.

Located at the altitude of 960 meters, it is a perfect place to get respite from the scorching heat of the summer.
